Around the World Blog Hop - Thoughtful Branches

Hi! It's time for another Around the World Blog Hop, and this month we are featuring the Thoughtful Branches Stamp set/Framelit Bundle. It is only available during August, while supplies last, so don't miss out on getting this versatile bundle.

You may have arrived here from Alisa Tilsner's blog. Her card is beautiful as always. You can continue on the hop by using the list of names and links below my card. They are all worth stopping at, to get some great ideas for using the Thoughtful Branches bundle.

I created a Centre Step Easel Card using the Thoughtful Branches set and one of my favourite colour combinations right now: Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz and Smoky Slate. The card base is all one piece (instructions can be found at the Craft Spa by clicking here - I did change the dimensions a bit though)

This is what it looks like from the front:

The label (sentiment from Thoughtful Branches, but the framelit is from the Rose Garden Thinlits). The striped paper is from the In Color Designer Series Paper stack.

I hope you enjoy your trip Around the World on our Blog Hop. Be sure to keep going to see all the amazing projects everyone created so you have lots of great ideas for using this bundle.

Around the World Blog Hop - New Stamps & Products!

Hello, and welcome to another Around the World Blog Hop! This month, we are showcasing our favourite new stamps & products from the 2016/17 Annual Catalogue! There are so many amazing new products, it's hard to narrow it down and show just a few. You may have arrived here from Barbara's blog... her card this month is so inspiring! You can continue on to Cecile's blog by using the blog list links at the bottom of my post... you don't want to miss any of the projects, so be sure to check them all out!

Every year, I tell myself I have enough flower stamps and I don't need to buy anymore... And of course, every year I end up buying at least one new flower stamp set. My resolve didn't last very long this year--on my first order, I had to have this set, Blooms & Wishes. I love the watercolour look it has, and I think it will make such pretty cards. Here is the first card I've made with it:

I created a Double Front Card. Here are some more pictures so you can see more details:

In addition to the Blooms & Wishes stamp set, I also used two new In Colors (Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach) and  a new embossing folder (Seaside) on this card. The other colors I used are Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride. The larger flowers are stamped off to give a softer look.

Thanks so much for joining us on our trip around the world featuring new products from the 2016/17 Stampin' Up! Catalogue! I hope you'll take the time to check out everyone's projects this month by using the links below:

Around the World Blog Hop - Retiring Favourites

Hi and welcome to another Around the World Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring products which are retiring May 31st and won't be available any more. I hope you have enjoyed all the wonderful projects so far, and that you continue on to see the rest!

My card features several retiring products: the Dots for Days background stamp, Deco Label Framelits, World of Dreams stamps (one of my favourites), And Many More stamps, Word Window punch, and the Zig Zag embossing folder.

used the Emboss Resist technique (embossed with clear embossing powder and rubbed with three ink colours with a Stampin' Sponge). Before I sponged the ink on, I ripped the edge of two sticky notes and masked off the center of the Deco Label so it leaves the edges clean.

Below you'll find the list (with links of course) for everyone participating in our blog hop. I hope you'll take a trip around the world and visit them all for inspiration!

February Around the World Blog Hop - Sale-a-bration!

Welcome to our Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop! This month we are celebrating Sale-a-bration! You may have gotten here from Marie-Josée Trudel'blog... Thanks for continuing your journey on the hop! Marie-Josee had a beautiful card as usual! Instead of next buttons, we have included links to all the blogs at the bottom of our posts to make it easy for you to navigate and check out all of our projects.

Sale-a-bration is my favourite time of the Stampin' Up! Year... who doesn't love getting things for free? This year, there are so many choices, and I really do like each of them. I really think there is something for everyone this year. Check back on the 16th, because there are even more free products to choose from, and they are fabulous as well!

For this blog hop, I decided to showcase three products you can get for free during Sale-a-bration: The Flowering Fields stamp set (flowers), the Wildflower Fields patterned paper and the Perfect Pairings stamp set (sentiment).

I hope you enjoy our blog hop, and I hope you'll continue on to visit all the other talented ladies who are participating!

Around the World Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop! You may have gotten here from Miriam van Eyden's blog... Thanks for continuing your journey on the hop! I love Miriam's style and her projects were fantastic as always. Instead of back and next buttons, we have included links to all the blogs at the bottom of our posts to make it easy for you to navigate and check out all of our projects.

I knew I was in trouble as soon as I turned the first few pages of the Occasions Catalogue... There are so many products I knew I would have to have! This was one of the first items on my Must Have list: Balloon Celebration bundle and I wanted to showcase it in my post today.

On both of my cards, I also used items you can get for free during Saleabration! The sentiment on this card is from The Sky's the Limit (available until February 15th), and I thought it worked perfectly with the balloons in this set. Another favourite product from the Occasions Catalogue is the Wink of Stella glitter brush. I added some of the clear Wink of Stella to some of the clouds to add some subtle glimmer.

On this card, I wanted to use some brighter colors and the Perfectly Artistic paper from the Saleabration flyer (available until February 15th). I embossed the clouds with Iridescent Ice embossing powder for a little sparkle. The Sentiment is from Sunburst Sayings (also in the Occasions Catalogue) and I was happy it fit so perfectly in the large balloon.

Thanks so much for joining us on our Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop! I hope you'll continue on to the other blogs on our hop. They all have inspiring projects to share.
